Hi! Thank you for visiting the Feed Life blog.
This blog is a way for me to share my ideas around food, nutrition and inspire you to enjoy a simple delicious way of eating.
About Feed Life:
I developed Feed Life Starve Cancer out of my desire to offer healthy eating education for cancer patients and survivors. There is a natural synergy between my passion for inspiring people to cook up delicious healthy cuisine and all the while eating to starve cancer! My own cancer diagnosis opened my eyes to the fact that there wasn’t a lot of structured good quality education out there for cancer patients and survivors. I believe the best way to be in control of your health is to understand how your body works and how great it is at protecting itself.
Although the courses offered through Feed Life emphasize research from evidence based science, I believe that our bodies are more than what meets the eye – we are a complex organism! There is so much that we can do ourselves to prevent and starve cancer. It doesn’t have to be complicated or time consuming because that isn’t sustainable. Our classes are meant to guide you towards vibrant life where cancer will not and cannot thrive!
Feed Life Starve Cancer is designed to help you understand how cancer works and how to starve it through food, exercise and the mind body connection. There is so much conflicting information out there that it can get overwhelming. Taking these classes will give you the confidence to take control of your health and make sustainable change. They are full of current research, inspiring stories, handy resources, humour and delicious foods!

A little bit about me:
When I don’t have my nose in a book you’ll probably find me running along the seawall in Vancouver BC with my faithful chocolate lab, Autumn, or blending up some green smoothies in my favourite gift ever – my vitamix!
I was born and raised in Vancouver. In 2004, I graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
I have had a nutrition consulting practice for 6 years and have been teaching yoga for 4 years. I have enjoyed working with people from all walks of life and health. Aside from a thriving consulting practice, I am also a nutritionist for Whole Foods Market where I educate team members and guests on healthy eating through the launch of their healthy eating initiative Health Starts Here. Having taken numerous cooking courses and years of experimentation in my own kitchen, I am excited to share that knowledge with you to help you Feed Life and Starve Cancer!
One of my other passions is the organization that I founded in 2005, AIM International Aid . To date we have built 3 nutrition centres and a medical dental facility in Sri Lanka a country that has been devastated but 3 decades of civil war and the 2004 tsunami. Currently we are working on creating a children’s permaculture village on 8 acres of land in the southern province.
